naushika: (MCU - Hiddles - I'm the bad guy)

Dear rarepairfest author,

Thank you so much for writing for me!! You're the best. <3

This letter lists my preferences, but please don't feel too constrained. I'm providing some prompts under the specifics section but you don't have to write them of course! I'll really be happy with just about anything. But I hope this letter is a good guide for you. :)

General stuff

Things I love:

- angst
- characters being put through the ringer
- action/adventure
- AUs (all AUs, any kind of AUs, but special love for the tropetastic high school/coffee shop-or-similar-business/etc AU)
- hurt/comfort
- characters linked together (either physically, eg handcuffs, or mentally, eg can't-be-more-than-50-feet-apart or whatever)
- apocalypse and/or dystopia
- time travel
- amnesia
- dubcon (aliens made them do it, sex pollen, drunk sex, etc)
- people slowly discovering their love for each other
- friendships turned romantic relationships
- any rating is ok; I'm not specifically after smut but if that's where it takes you then go for it

Things I don't like:

- BDSM (a little dominance is fun but if safewords are involved it's gone too far for me)
- noncon (violence between partners and straight up rape are a no thanks)
- incest (not particularly an issue but I thought I'd mention it in case; for instance, no background Thor/Loki)
- extreme depictions of gore/violence

Specific prompts

If you need a spark hopefully one of these will help! If you spot a prompt for a different pairing you think will work feel free to use that too. All of these are things I like.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Jane Foster/Loki

- what if Jane was the one Loki put the whammy on, not Erik?
- Jane goes to Asgard and in her wanderings stumbles across Loki's cell
- Loki is stripped of his magic and exiled to Earth

This pairing can get dark which I do like, but I especially enjoy Jane rising to Loki's level and becoming an equal in some way.

Bruce Banner/Natasha Romanoff

- undercover as a married couple on a mission for SHIELD
- the Hulk hurts Natasha during a mission and she and Bruce deal with the consequences

While everyone else watched Avengers and fell for Clint/Natasha, all I had eyes for was Bruce/Natasha. A bit of a May-December thing (a kink of mine), and I adored their interactions in the movie, learning to trust each other.

Marvel 616

Kate Bishop/America Chavez

- one of them gets hit on; the other one gets jealous
- Kate's father is getting remarried, so she takes America with her to the wedding
- America loses her powers somehow and Kate helps her deal

I love the odd couple sort of vibe to Kate and America. It's one of those relationships I see starting with friction and developing into a strong reliance on each other.

Carol Danvers/Steve Rogers

- late night phone calls that start out as superhero stuff and progress from there
- the tabloids run stories of Captain Marvel and Captain America dating, but it's only a rumor; at least to start

Carol and Steve are a couple of bros, and I feel their friendship is based more on similarities rather than differences. They're both so good, they feel they have a duty to help those around them, and they both take their powers and responsibilities very seriously. I can imagine them getting very close based on that.

Teen Wolf

Allison Argent/Derek Hale

- Derek gives Allison the bite (accidentally, or on purpose.. or accidentally-on-purpose)
- they get trapped together somewhere and their issues with each other come to the forefront

I think Allison and Derek are two tortured people with a lot of angsty baggage. (And I loooove it.) I can see them either spiralling out of control together, or helping each other heal. Whichever. Both are fun. :D

Melissa McCall/Sheriff Stilinski

- Melissa accidentally lets slips about the werewolf thing to Sheriff
- regular conversations over coffee about the things their sons get up to evolves into something more

Considering how close their kids are, it's hard to imagine that these two haven't had to interact quite a lot over the years. I can see a close bond forming out of that.

---

And that's that! I hope that was helpful. Feel free to play with anything I wrote in my letter. Just as long as you avoid my squicks I know I'll be happy. Thanks so much, and have fun writing! :D
