It was Saturday night/Sunday morning at 2:30am, my computer was off and I was in bed already about to go to sleep when I got the email alert about it (because I totally signed up for an email alert for Thor 2 ok don't judge me). I screeched and jumped out of bed and turned my computer back on so I could buy them lololol. My boyfriend was like JFC.

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS STUPID MOVIE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

A lot of tv happened last night (general spoiler alert for everything):

Dexter series finale.

lol what the fuck was that seriously?????? Deb dies and Dexter becomes Wolverine. Ok.

No but Deb dying was unacceptable, esp the way they did it. A blood clot. From stupid fucking Saxon, one of the lamest bad guys Dexter has ever had.

Hannah is stupid and I don't like her but I don't really care that she swanned off with Harrison I guess except it's so totally lame Dexter just abandoned his son like that (after already abandoning Astor and Cody but *whistles* neither here nor there).

That was just the most epically awful television show meltdown in series finale form I've ever seen. (Okay, second most.. Enterprise still wins on this one.)

Boardwalk Empire

BWE is not a show I talk about much cause a) I'm not fannish about it in even the slightest and b) it's just one of those pretty-good-shows-but-I'm-not-invested type of deals. But we're on the third episode of season 4 and it's definitely the best season this show has had since season 1! Last season I was getting bored with the show and wasn't too interested in the new characters and story but then they wrapped it up and are doing new stuff this year. Plus the writing has gotten a lot better. The show is a bit more subtle now, with more dark humor and better character moments. IDK what they did but a+ I am enjoying it a lot more now than I was last season.

Downton Abbey

Oh, why can't I quit you. So melodramatic. So delightful.

Breaking Bad

There are no emotions I can express. I think I just need to wait until the show is finished. AJkdlfjsd.

lol You didn't really miss much. For me I was just sort of too late to back out, and I didn't mind the mediocrity of the past couple seasons as much as other people. But that ending was just inexcusable.

LOlllllll. Yesss. At the end of the show, Dexter fakes his death and the last shots are of him in some northern tree-filled wilderness working as a lumberjack cutting down trees and all that, wearing flannel with a hairy beard.

at least dexter got out of it i suppose. i'm not sure how i'd feel with it ending with his death (even though it'd be a good thing)

I think I would have been okay whether he lived or died, but I kind of wanted it to end with everyone knowing finally that he really was the Bay Harbor Butcher. That would have felt like some closure.

DEBBBBBB. :( So rude, why do shows have to kill beloved characters in final episodes? It's not moving it's just rage-inducing.

Agree so hard about Dexter. I can't say I was expecting awesomeness out of the finale, but, still. For a moment I thought he was truly dead, and honestly, I would have been cooler with that. Then, there we are in Lumberjackville, and I was all, "Huh?" Lame.

When it comes to BB, mostly I'm baffled by some of the reactions I've been seeing and feeling like a group of one. My feelings are best expressed by Flynn/Walt Jr. in the episode, who is, IMO, the most right on in his reaction to Walt.

Yeah, I knew the finale wasn't going to suddenly be amazing, but it managed to be much worse than I expected. Sigh.

Omg I worry about people who think Walter White is the hero of the story. Walt's declarations of doing it all for his family falls flat when you remember how he could never let anyone else take over his name, business, legacy, or formula, and he once stated he was in the "empire business". He enjoyed the power and status so much more than the wealth, and the fact his money was stolen from him by Jack's gang is mostly just infuriating not because his family is left with nothing but because that was his legacy that he "earned" so those low-lives have no claim to it. Walt is really fascinating to me and I have enjoyed BB for this look into how a villain is born and grown (as well as how he drags everyone down around him) but yeah, HE IS THE BAD GUY HERE, lol.
