naushikaIf you hadn't heard the news yet, Being Human (US) is cancelled. :( This is gonna be their last season. "Artistic reasons" were cited, though I do have my suspicions as well, considering how things are going at SyFy these days.
If you've ever heard the song Space Olympics, around my house we have started singing (to the tune of about 2:10) "Warehouse 13? IS TOTALLY CANCELLED! Being Human? IS ALSO CANCELLED! And all other shows are pending!"
..my household is very strange, please be glad you don't live here. If anyone ever put a hidden camera in my house it would be super embarrassing lol.
I recently took a few photos of the neighborhood around my new place. I posted them on Facebook but forgot to post them here. Actually most aren't very exciting so here's just a couple I liked :D
Grown-over car. This is in someone's driveway, and their yard is similarly overgrown. I half wonder if there isn't a mummified dead body in the house because the place looks like nobody's been in or out of it since the 70s. O_O
There was a stretch of sidewalk covered in painted graffiti like this.
Statue commemorating the historic district. It's a phoenix.. get it? heh.

There are so many cute little cottages and bungalows around here. This is one of several on a street, each one painted a different bright color.

The sidewalks around here have so much stuff on them haha.
Which is probably because all of the sidewalks are super super old. Many of the sidewalks around here were built pre-US-involvement-in-WWII during Roosevelt's make-work programs. I found it interesting!
