i wanna be part of the human race

Phoenix Comicon was this past weekend and it was amazing. I had an awesome time, as usual! I uploaded a bunch of photos to my twitter & facebook if you are interested. I'll only show a couple here because I'm lazy.

But long story short, I sat in on panels with Alyson Hannigan & Alexis Denisof,



Edward James Olmos & Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Charisma Carpenter, Karl Urban,



Jason Isaacs, David Morrissey, the PBS Digital Studios youtubers, as well as lots of cool fan-run panels. I went to a PBS Digital Studios meet up and hung out with the host of PBS Game/Show for like 2 hours and he even fist bumped me and basically it was one of the coolest moments of my life. I took a photo with him but it was an outdoor meetup and it was 100 degrees and I look hot and gross so no (tho it's on my twitter if you really want to see, lol). Saw lots of awesome cosplay



and did some serious thought about cosplay for next year (I even went to a couple intro "how to cosplay" type panels as prep!). Bought some cool swag (art, tshirts, comic books, and even a makeup set



ahahaha)

All in all 4 days of awesome nerdy fun and I was so sad driving away for the final time I almOST CRIED. Con blues hit me like IMMEDIATELY apparently. But I'm already looking forward to next yearrrrrrrrrr!!

I love it omg. It's actually growing on me even more with each passing day, haha. I took in a picture of Ginnifer Goodwin and her amazing short hair as hairspiration - no shame tbqh - and now I totally feel as awesome as Ginny, hah.

In other news, Phoenix Comicon is in just 7 measly days!!!!! I'm most excited about: Stephen Amell (unf), Bruce Campbell, Mike Rugnetta (one of my fave youtube personalities, lol, he runs the PBS Idea Channel), John Barrowman ofc (last year someone suggested he should bring his sister this year, and he did! Carole Barrowman will also be there with her own panel), Cary Elwes, Richard Dean Anderson, John Rhys-Davies, Stan Lee, aaaaaaaand AMBER BENSON! AHHH. Honestly I wasn't gonna get photo ops with anyone this year but I might for Amber, if she does it. <3 Eliza Dushku will be there too, but idk if they are doing anything together. edit: Omg so Amber is attending the con solely as an author (apparently she wrote some books?!) so no photo ops, but, she will have a table out on the floor. Just out there! Where a person could just walk up to her! Ahhhh! I need to rehearse something awesome to say to her D:

There's one (half-ish) day of the con left, tomorrow, but I have some downtime tonight cause I got home earlier than usual so I thought I'd post some of my pictures/thoughts so far of my first con everrrrrrr. You may have seen a couple of these if you follow/whatever me on tumblr or facebook.
