Defiance

Okay was it me or was this episode really good??? I can't really put my finger on it but the writing + directing was just so good this episode.

The story was interesting (even if I totally called it that he wasn't a real time traveler ahaha) and there was some good stuff about the Earth republic in there.

WHAT IS UP WITH DOC YEWLL I'm dying to know. Me and Nolan both apparently.

Good Stahma/Kenya stuff and Datak dramaaaaaaa. I like that they don't do just a typical "my husband is an asshole" thing even though Datak IS but Stahma really does love him and it's so delightfully complicated.

Lots of Amanda development! I really liked her this ep. I was kinda feeling the Amanda/guy from Queer as Folk. I want his character to stick around. :[

LOL the Twilight conversation.

I liked the scene near the end with Rafe and the time traveler dude. Rafe's really grown as a character over the last several episodes, I really like him now. He's interesting.

Warehouse 13

Oh gosh Jinksy. SO FREAKIN CUTEEEEEEEEEE WITH HIS EX AHAHA. And Pete was totally shipping them oh my god. LOL. <3 <3 <3 And Myka being a good friend to Steve by being all mean to the ex.

I didn't really care about the artifact of the week at all, lol.

A+ Prius commercial? It plays Pandora radio and can drive through lava! lol. I understand shows need money but the scene at the end where it was just like a TEN SECOND LONG SHOT OF THE PRIUS I was like umm ok guys I GET IT.

But anyway JINKSYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. EEEEEEE.

I almost forgot about the side plot with Artie and Claudia and the statue thingy. I really like when those two team up cause they make me laugh hehe. :D Artie unleashes his sass with Claudia, it's so adorable. I mean he's got sass all the time but he cranks it to eleven with Claudia because it's the only language she understands.

Birthday party for Claudiaaaaaaaa, so cute.

A++++++ episode, Warehouse 13 rarely lets me down. Always amusing. <3

I had no idea they were talking about twilight, i thought it was just a random, made-up, 'soon-to-be' pop culture reference. IT WORKED BETTER.

Defiance was SO good. Amazing stuff. During the scene at Rafe's I actually randomly thought, "These actors are all so amazing." They made it real, which brought you in. No games, no scifi bullcrap, just people. Which I loved. And I also love the continuity and the way episodes don't just happen self-contained in themselves. I had SG-1 flashbacks when Nolan and Tommy were walking over the dunes to the Arkfall. It was so Season 4/5 Jack and Daniel I could barely look away. And once they started playing "Man Out of Time" at the end, I was THISCLOSE to losing it.

Fun fact: The actor who plays Rafe was in one of the Twilight movies. ;D

Defiance was slightly better this week

and warehouse 13 has the most adorable team. really. BFFS FOR EVERRRRRRR. its basically impossible to ship any of them at this point
