Part IV :D
Numbers 30 through 21...
30. Soul Asylum - Runaway Train
This song and video used to make me cry every time I saw it. :[ So sad! But a really good song. I loved this early 90s simplistic rock sound. Man, dat 90s grunge look, with the oversized flannel and mussed up hair. I KIND OF MISS WHEN LOOKING LIKE A HOBO WAS A THING no jk I don't.
29. Crash Test Dummies - Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
lol, this song. IT'S GOOD THOUGH! I actually had this album and LOVED it. Basically every song is the same but THAT'S OK.
28. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under the Bridge
The Red Hot Chili Peppers were huge basically the entire decade, and this is another one of those bands where it was hard to pick just one song. But Scar Tissue has the best groove and is just so enjoyable to listen to.
27. Hootie and the Blowfish - Tucker's Town
Back before we lost Darius Rucker to country music (just kidding guys.. ;) ), he was in a folksy flavored rock band you might have heard of... Hootie and the Blowfish. Cracked Rear View was everyone else's fave back then but I loved the shit out of their later 90s album, Fairweather Johnson, and this is definitely my fave song of theirs. I just loveeeeeee Darius Rucker's gravelly growls.
26. Live - I Alone
Rock, man. Just. ROCK. When the drums kick in with the chorus, aughhhhh. SO GOOD. I.. completely forgot about this video though and lol at the lead singer's braided rat tail + shaved head. Oh my. But ignore the video, LISTEN TO THE MUSICCCCCC.
25. New Radicals - You Get What You Give
CLASSIC RAUCUS POP ROCK. Total one-hit wonder. But if you had to be a one-hit wonder, then I'd be glad it's for this song. WAKE UP KIDS, WE GOT THE DREAMER'S DISEASEEEEE. I'm pretty sure they still use the opening strains of this song in movies when they're doing 90s flashback scenes.
24. The Cardigans - Lovefool
Did I put Lovefool on this list? YES. YES I DID. I jammed to this song pretty hard. You gotta belt out the LOVE ME, LOVE ME, SAY THAT YOU LOVE MEEEEEEEEE line. Lol, ladies fashion in the mid-late 90s was so cringe-worthy.. leopard print shirt with a plastic heart.. okay then.
*coughsaturatedcolors+fisheyecough*
23. Blur - Song 2
MORE ROCK. This part of the countdown ended up very rock-heavy! But I'm not complaining. Looove the bass in this song and the total I'MMA SHOUT WHOOHOOOOOO CAUSE FUCK THE POLICE vibe, ahahaa.
22. Toad the Wet Sprocket - All I Want
Let's slow it down with a ballad. A rock ballad. But a ballad nonetheless. What does the band's name mean? Who knows.. just enjoy that guitar, abundance of flowy white shirts, and emotional lyrics~
21. Better than Ezra - Good
I couldn't find a music video! Was there one? I don't remember.. But DAMN I love this song. WHAAAA OHHHHH AND IT'S GOOOOOOOD WHAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOO OHHHHHH OHHHHHHHHH.

And UNDER THE BRIDGE. I just listened to that song three times in a row because of you. :P
