So what all fic challenges have sign ups open right now, or opening soon? Throw yo links at me!

I was thinking about signing up for yuletide when that opens, but if I'm going to be out of town for two weeks in December I'm thinking maybe it's not such a good idea. And then I remembered nanowrimo is right around the corner and maybe I will do that. I love trying and failing every year, ahaha.

I'm in a very write-y mood lately.

Yuletide assignments went out in early November last year, so if you can write early, you might be able to do it despite being away. Well, assuming they hold to a similar schedule this year.

Other exchanges...

rarecharacters just closed sign-ups, so that's no good. (Although you could sign on to the pinch hit list?)

tagyourit is scheduled to open nominations in early September; it's a bit of a wait, but it looks like it could be fun if enough people sign up.

I haven't seen much else lately. Mostly big bangs.
