revolution
Oct. 3rd, 2013 01:43 pmI've been enjoying Revolution a lot.
- The writing is super tight this season. So far every episode, lots of things have happened. As opposed to last season where the first half of the season basically nothing ever happened (not of consequence, anyway).
- I'm soooo glad the power stayed off. GOOD. It's so much more entertaining as a dirty grungy post apocalypse show.
- There's some much better humor going on. Last night's episode had me chuckling quite a bit. The whole scene with Miles and the creepy headmaster dude - I was cracking up. Also omg the Walker Texas Ranger stuff AHAHA.

I mean, it's funny, but I also love it because it's a fairly accurate representation of how things would start to get twisted and weird in this sort of society. Sometimes I forget the show takes place like what, 15 years after the blackout? Or something. So there are adults walking around with a lot of wrong information in their head. I LOVE THAT KIND OF STUFFFFF
- I love Charlie and her TRAIL OF REVENGEEEEEE. I wish she'd have killed Monroe but it's pretty clear they're keeping that guy around for a while longer yet anyway, sigh. But at least he's being plenty mistreated:

- I don't know what Neville's angle is but I'm delighted to find out. So schemey, I love it. But I also feel the lady congresswoman or whatever her role is, she's not an idiot, so I don't think she really trusts Neville. POSSIBLE FUTURE SHOWDOWN????? A BATTLE OF SCHEMING? Deez calculated stares.

- This was last episode but I'm so so glad they didn't kill Aaron. I'm also glad that the show isn't treating us like idiots and in this episode, Aaron and Rachel had the right conversation. They know it's the nanites, it HAS to be. But why? It's my theory that because Aaron is basically their creator, they fixed him. But my boyfriend's theory is that everyone inside the Tower when the bombs went off is now immortal b/c of the nanites. He thinks it will be proven next week when the creepy headmaster dude makes Miles do blood transfusion or whatever the hell is going on at the end of the episode, and it will kill Miles but then Miles will come back to life. WE SHALL SEE. Also eheheheh zombie jokes.

- I still like the amount of mysteries going on. Some things get addressed quickly so I get regular satisfaction, but then we have other mysteries like the fireflies and now the rats and I'm just like OOOOOH WHAT IS THISSSS I'M SO INTERESTED
- Long story short I'M GETTING REALLY INTO REVOLUTION NOW, it's wayyyyy better than last season y'all. I'M FEELING THE PAYOFF FOR STICKING WITH IT MWAHAHAHA
