Oct. 22nd, 2013 03:28 amI went to the post office today to pick up our applications for passports. Eee. EXCITING.
The only downside is these things are expensssssssive. The passport itself is $110. Getting a photo done is $15. (You can provide your own photo but it has to fit all these dumb exacting standards and I'd rather just pay and have them do it and know it's right.) Then the USPS charges $35 in fees as well. So that's $160.. times two. *cringes in the wallet area*
I can't be too upset tho cause it's not like we're paying for the tickets, ahahaha. But on the flip side, we really need a new bed. Ours is just.. not good anymore. SO I CAN EITHER BUY A BED OR PASSPORTS oh well passports it is. I will sleep uncomfortably for a few more months if it means AUSTRALIAAAAAAAA
Anyway I committed another act of WASHI TAPE.

DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN, boring black frame becomes cute pink-rimmed frame.

HERE IT IS ON THE WALL WITH SOME ~ART IN IT. The pink is not noticeable straight on but I kind of like it that way. It's like a hint of color. A COLOR SURPRISE IF YOU WILL. The art is from a booklet the art museum sent me. THANKS MUSEUM FOR DECORATING MY WALLS! :D

What my ~art wall~ is looking like these days. One of these days I'll finish cleaning my living room and take some nice shots of the whole thing. But anyway. I LOVE MY ART WALL. Even if it is a bit sparse.
