31 days of blogging - day 21
Nov. 6th, 2013 02:03 pm21. Your 10 favorite foods
As a bonus this is a list of my ten favorite paleo foods. Eating healthy is an ongoing challenge but it's also kind of fun to find amazing flavors for things that are also good for me :D Although not everything on this list is super healthy haha.
10. sweet potato fries w/ wasabi mayo
09. herb-roasted mexican squash
08. lime-ginger-coconut soup with zucchini, carrot, and shrimp
07. green grapes, I was always meh on grapes but I realized that was RED grapes. Green grapes are a whole other flavor and they're in season right now so I'm eating way more than I should
06. any sort of mashed winter squash (butternut, acorn, pumpkin, etc) with butter and garlic
05. buffalo ranch chicken soup
04. any sort of sweet and spicy asian stir fry. SRIRACHA ALL THE THINGS
03. taco bowl with spicy meat, avocado, green sauce, green onions, cilantro, squirt of a lime, whatever random veggies are around, usually tomato and peppers, sometimes lettuce
02. bacon-wrapped dates filled with goat cheese holy shIT SO GOOD but these are little sugar-bombs (natural sugar, from the dates, but super sugary nonetheless) so we have had them like twice the past year. I'm totally making some for my birthday in a couple months though
and number one, dun dun dun
01. Brussels sprouts sauteed in bacon fat and sprinkled with the crumbled bits of bacon used to create the bacon fat

I love love love Brussels sprouts so much and they just become NEXT LEVEL with the addition of bacon.
