31 days of blogging - day 24
Nov. 14th, 2013 03:04 pm24. Your favorite childhood book
I had a book of fairy tales, as many children do, and my specific book was A Book of Fairytales, illustrated by Janet & Anne Grahame Johnstone. The illustrations were GORGEOUS. I used to read it over and over and just stare at the pictures.

The Princess and the Pea - one of my faves.

Beauty and the Beast. Gah, so pretty - look at her dress!

Hansel and Gretel. Look at the detailing on that stove. Are you looking? I SAID LOOK AT IT

Babes in the Woods. The colors! THE CLOTHES!

Tom Thumb. Look at the detail! Leaf hat, moth wing sleeve, sewing needle for a sword. Adorable.
I found a website with some pictures from the stories (though I know this isn't all that was in there), part one and part two if you want to see more. I really wish I still had this book!
