25. Your 5 favorite blogs

Uhh I don't really read blogs.. I have a couple I go to now and again and then just read all the entries in one go since last time I visited.

- Manhattan Nest - the blog of a guy who lives in NYC and his blog is all about his home improvement projects, remodels, thrifting adventures, DIY projects, that sort of thing. He recently bought a house with his boyfriend outside NYC and so the blog is all kinds of posts lately about completely remodeling that home. A) I love makeovers and this blog gives me a constant stream of that and B) his style jives with mine so well. I get a lot of inspiration from it. Also his entries really amuse me!

- Curbly - a steady stream of my favorite things as I mentioned right above. Lots of DIYs, before & afters, remodels, etc. It's an aggregation blog so not everything posted is my style but I get a fair amount of inspiration from it.

- Fat Head - blog from the documentary maker for the film Fat Head (which I rec'd in one of my many paleo-related posts). He's the sort of person I am - fairly libertarian about all sorts of things, but not militantly so, and into the paleo/primal food movement. He also puts some personal stuff on there which I usually scroll by lol. I mostly enjoy the posts where he rages about governments or schools that overreach, and also posts where he points out flaws in bad science and poor scientific studies. I am too lazy to read scientific articles so he does the work for me. I've learned a lot since reading his blog.

- Nom Nom Paleo - another paleo/primal blog, focused on lifestyle rather than science. She shares lots of recipes and techniques so I glean from that. She also regularly shares interesting paleo links from around the net which is good cause I'm too lazy to look for stuff. She also just posts really lovely photos. And her kids are adorable!

- The Big Picture - does this count as a blog? Collections of amazing photos from around the world in themed posts, most often of newsworthy events.

I really had to reach to get 5, heh. Mostly I just read my friends list and that is enough bloggery for me. :D
