To anyone on my flist doing shipswap! There's been a one week extension due to the mod's having a death in the family. So if you were stressing about finishing by tomorrow, you get a reprieve. :3

My assignment's been finished for a while but I took on a pinch hit and I only just started it last night and was worrying how I was gonna finish it by tonight.. but now this is a big relief, haha. (I feel a bit guilty having relief over this due to the mod's situation. >.<)

Do you screencap? What program do you use? I use KMPlayer, but it won't play/process a specific file so I can't cap it (and that has stalled me out on capping Being Human US for the past few weeks). The file plays fine in my usual file player (VLC) but I don't use that program for capping. I'm hoping I can find some program that will cap it so I don't have to cap the non-logo-free file.

Is there any place to get Believe screencaps besides screencapped.net? A) They're a couple episodes behind and B) I'm annoyed with screencapped now thanks to their babyish "WE'RE TAKING EVERYTHING DOWN UNTIL WE GET ENOUGH PEOPLE FAWNING OVER US" stunt they pulled.

you should check that proportions are alright before you cap the whole thing (they weren't when I tried this)

They said they were getting too much "hate" (sometimes people were impatient jerks so were like "where's my caps??" and yeah that sucks but that's not hate gosh) so they took the ENTIRE SITE offline for a couple days until enough people were nice to them on tumblr and then they OH SO GRACIOUSLY put the site back up. Ugh. You can see the updates from that time here.

I use KMP for capping too, but I also used to use VLC (so much use in one sentence), and it worked out okay? So if nothing else works, you could try it? :)
