bad decision? or BEST decision?

My old dehydrator has been on the fritz for a while. It completely broke, then Chris fixed it, but it was still acting weird, and making strange noises.. And ever since I really got into dehydrating, it's been too small, too oddly shaped, just WRONG WRONG WRONG AND I NEED TO UPGRADE. But really the world of dehydrators isn't that expansive, and unless I just wanted to replace it with another midrange dehydrator that didn't fix the problems of size/shape (I didn't), then I needed to step it up and upgrade to an Excalibur dehydrator, which is sort of the only name in the pro dehydrating business right now.
SO I went and spent hundreds of bucks on a new dehydrator OOPSit's not like I'm job hunting cause I need more money or anything nope
BUT LOOK HOW BIG AND WONDERFUL IT IS
such space.. very dry.. wow
I did a small initial test run of some pineapple and strawberries.

It worked purrrfectly.
I also ordered some nonstick sheets for drying liquidy things, but they haven't arrived yet. Once they do I'm going to make an ENORMOUS batch of my newest favorite thing, flaxseed crackers:

SO GOOD. They have a similar texture to Triscuits, and are sooo crispy. I made these using fresh rosemary from my garden. :D :D Flaxseed in bulk is SO cheap, like, $2.50/lb, and a single cup of flaxseed makes a crapton of crackers. Once those sheets come in I am going to make enough crackers for all the trays - then I'll just be SWIMMING IN CRACKERS.
