This is Mr Otter, I bought him from etsy, and he's hung on the wall right by the front door cause he makes me smile and I like to see him right before I leave, and when I get home!

Day 16- The view out your front door


Super unimpressive. That's a restaurant across the street and it's very popular so there's people out there all the time. Fortunately they're only open from like 10 to 4 so most of the day it's quiet.

Day 19- Something you love

Where the magic happens. I made my boyfriend make me that wooden thing holding my monitor, it's greatttttt. It elevates my monitor to a nicer height so my neck isn't so tilted, and my keyboard can slide under there so I have more space on the desk.

Thor and Loki keep me company. :3

Day 30- A photo of a Pet or animal.


I always take photos of Jansky or Coco cause they are nice kitties and my favorites. So for once here is a picture of Jenga, in her usual spot, lazing on the floor.

I just encountered NYX make-up for the first time yesterday. It's not widely sold here, but I saw a reference online and there's one drugstore that carries it, so I went and looked. (Didn't end up buying what I wanted, though, 'cause a product that's listed at $7 on their website was almost $20 in the store.)

LOL well.. they are easy. And cheap. Old Navy sells them for 2 pairs for $5.. hard to argue.

Good god, $20! There must be some sort of markup for being an imported item? NYX is very much a mid-range brand. It's not the cheapest of the cheap but yeah like a lipstick generally costs $7 or something, so that sucks! I wouldn't pay $20 for a NYX item so good choice. I do like their matte lipstick a lot though.

Yeah, clearly there's some sort of mark-up happening there. Most things are more expensive here, though. It was one of people's major complaints about Target when it opened here--the prices were way higher than in the US.
