2. Agent Carter will feature original Edwin Jarvis, Howard Stark's butler, and the go-between for Stark and Carter. Some other deets about the show at that article. I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS SHOWWW
3. There's gonna be an animated Guardians of the Galaxy show.
4. I already mentioned the GotG sequel in the last entry, but they announced the date: July 28th, 2017. So not far away.
5. Josh Brolin is officially Thanos!
6. Last but not least, this Ant-Man mess: "Lilly will play Hope Pym, the daughter of Hank Pym, while Stoll will play Darren Cross, a.k.a. Yellowjacket, the antagonist of the film." Still no mentions whatsoever of Jan, at this point I'm thinking she won't be in it at all. I'm very turned off by this new character they've made of Hope Pym, when they could have written something with Jan or Cassie instead (or, heaven forfend.. both?!?). Everything I hear about Ant-Man makes me shake my head so I'm really wary of what this movie is gonna turn out like. But.. I will be there in line for the opening night no matter what so I guess it doesn't matter, lol.
General comics, some DC stuff:
1. Saga announced a new hardcover edition of the comic and showed off the artwork. Which is of breastfeeding. PEOPLE ARE ALREADY SHOUTING ABOUT HOW OFFENSIVE IT IS. Let's all point and laugh at the idiots.
2. The full list of Eisner award winners. So many of my faves won, yeahhhh.
3. DC unveiled Wonder Woman's costume for the movies. And it's fucking awfuuuuuuulllll. A) It's basically a low rent Xena outfit. B) Aside from the echoing of the pattern etched in the leather, it has nothing to do with Wonder Woman's costume.. AT ALL. All brown leather? Fucking really?!?! C) I see you ditching the lasso in favor of a sword, DC. Nothing about this is WW. NOTHING. Why does it always have to be "dark and gritty" with them? Sigh.
4. They're making new Star Wars comics, ooh! These will take place immediately after Star Wars IV.
5. Princess Leia is also getting her own comic miniseries. I'M HERE FOR THAT.
6. Here's a few shoddy pictures of the Batman vs Superman teaser. Why the fuck are Batman's eyes glowing. What's going on here..
