It's been 14 years since I was last enrolled in a college, and I forgot just how awful non-relevant-to-the-field-of-study classes are. I submitted my transcript for my bachelor's degree and they did take off 4 classes, thankfully, like English and some art/social science electives. But those classes are all in later semesters so I am stuck with everything in semester 1. I'm currently about 3/4 of the way through this class called "Office Applications" and it is the worst. It is so boring. It is about word, excel, and power point.. which first of all, aren't really used in my field. Secondly I know how to use them all to varying degrees, power point probably the least, but either way, this class is SO BORING!! Like, can you imagine just scrolling through endless pages of text and videos about word, excel, and PP? It's soul draining. I joined a facebook group for my program and I was delighted to see everyone complaining about this class. One girl said she was finally finishing it after 8 (!!!) months. She just couldn't do it, haha. Fortunately I'm just on my second weekend of it and I think I'll be done today.

I'm about halfway through season 3 of 12 Monkeys. It's still going strong. At this point in the show they've clearly decided to get a lil ~funky and are doing some fun things with the storytelling. Distressingly, I don't really like one of the main characters anymore. During season 2 this character really annoyed me a lot. They're a little better by season 3 but not all the way better and it's kind of like, can't put the genie back in the bottle. So I'm a little sad about that. But on the upside, all the secondary characters are amazing.

Oof, that Office class sounds hideously painful. I feel like people should be allowed to test out of basic classes like that. Did you manage to finish it?

Sooo painful. I did finally finish, I'm just waiting for the grade on my final project. And I completely agree, testing out should be an option!

gross, classes LOL. I'm painfully slogging through a graduate diploma and i've dropped one of the classes twice LOL. It's hard, and i'm glad you're getting there because it will fly by and you'll be at least past the office paper soon...like i'm sure you don't need a clases for that! I guess better easy than super hard?

Hahaha IT'S SO HARD. Especially when you're like, a working adult. It seems extra stupid at this point in one's life.

Yeah there is going to be much harder classes later so I guess I shouldn't complain, hahahha
