naushikaI finished Loki season 2, and it was stunningly beautiful and perfect and sad, yet wonderful all at the same time. It was an honestly perfect end to a perfect arc for a (imo) fairly perfect character. I loved Loki from the get go, I have loved every appearance and iteration of him in the movies, and the Loki tv show has been soo soo SOOOO good and so beyond my expectations.
The twist at the end of Loki finally fulfilling his glorious purpose burden upon his throne! AN ARROW. STRAIGHT TO MY HEART. And I kinda got the chills a little bit when he grabbed up all the threads and they lit up and formed Yggdrasil??? Like wow, I definitely did not see that coming.
And how it showed how Loki has grown from that first Thor movie, and how he really and truly embodies the title of God. The power and cleverness he's always had, but now he has the maturity and wisdom to wield it for the betterment of the entire universe.
All in all, the storytelling in Loki, both seasons, has been so great. I'm so glad that we got such a wonderful ending to Loki's story. Loki was one of those lingering threads after Endgame for me, as I found his death in Infinity War unsatisfying. THIS was a fitting end to Loki.
I will miss him though.
