The season finale was super cute and wonderful and yay everyone's happy!

That 3 year time jump though? I kind of hated with the passion of a thousand fiery suns. Were they not sure if the show would be renewed? Was this meant to serve as a possible series finale? But if the show comes back, then what? The whole series will be pushed 3 years into the future? Or will they go back to current time?

IDK. Complicated feelings. This is too much for me in a simple sitcom, lol.

But it was cute. I'm glad the unity concert came together. And the Michelle Obama & Leslie scene was hilarous.

Elementary

I had a feeling it was going to be a cliffhanger once the ep was nearly over but Joan was still sleuthing around. Noooooo.

I don't trust Mycroft, at all.. his comments about Sherlock keeping Joan's talents to himself, and stuff. I feel like he wants to use her for some other purpose, but to him it's funner/easier/better to get her into his good graces via romance as opposed to Sherlock's method of.. being an asshole. haha.

The producers said they will spend the majority of the next season in 2017, but they didn't discount flashbacks to fill in the blanks. I'm not sure about it... on the one hand, The Mentalist jumped forward two years and became an unidentifiable generic cop show. But in this case, it saved us from a whole season of pregnant Leslie storylines (which would have been fine... for a while...) and Tom's first years with the restaurant, and more Pawneeagleton strife.

To me this seems like a nice way to get all those stories out of the way to focus on something new. I'm excited! And a little worried about what this means for Ron's kids. Everyone else, sure, three years and not much is different. But at their ages those girls will have to be recast. :(

It might turn out fine. Sometimes time jumps can help a story along. Vikings just did one at the beginning of this season, even longer than P&R's. But Vikings has always been a very fast-moving show, with whole weeks passing within just one episode, and months between other episodes. P&R has always been a very close-to-life show so I don't know how to feel! Haha. It all depends on how well they handle it, really.

Yeah... I kinda would have liked to see Leslie's pregnancy, and how she balances work/pregnancy/nervous Ben *lol*
So I'm not sure if skipping the pregnancy all together was a good thing or a bad thing.
Guess we'll see...

and yeah, agreed. Sometimes it can be sorta funny, but then you get episodes with fart attacks, and it's just tasteless, and not the parks I'm used to ...

but let's forget the bad, and concentrate on the good:

I guess there might be flashbacks, so maybe we'll still get to see some of that. I'm annoyed they wasted a pregnancy storyline on Ann when they could have saved it for Leslie! *is possibly actually April*

Yeah if they could figure Mycroft's game out.. that'd be great. I just don't trust him! I don't think he's bad. But I think he can be as self-absorbed as Sherlock but he's sneaky. So sneaky.
