Agents of SHIELD

SJKFLSJDKSS MY EMOTIONS

Bullet points of my favorite parts:

- Mike Peterson's son being rescued & him being free of HYDRA's grasp. I was kinda hoping he'd join up with Coulson's team but oh well

- Fitz and Simmons' lovely conversation about life after death while they were underwater, about their particles going on to live as part of other things in the universe, also the sad scene where Fitz sacrificed himself for her, ahhhhh, those two stole the episode SORRY

- when Garrett was all resurrecting and getting the badass suit I was groaning because I haaaate that but then Coulson killed him, LOL. PERFECT. I enjoy it when tropes are punched in the face

- speaking of punching things in the face, MAYYYYY. I was glad she got to get out her aggression on Ward ahaha. I was surprised, though, that he didn't die, or escape.. I'm guessing he won't stay in jail very long?? I just mean that'd be a super anti-climatic ending to his story if he was just carted off to lockup and we never saw him again haha

- LOL another Koenig? I actually liked that they didn't bother explaining what was going on there. Twin brother? Clone? Transferred consciousness? Nope no explanations just accept it. xD

- I had theorized as soon as SHIELD was dismantled that it would be Coulson's team building it up again and my prediction happily came to fruition in this episode :D I can't wait for next season ahhhhhhhhhhh

DAMNNNNNNNNNN Arrow knows how to play with my heart.

Oliver's all "I love you" to Felicity and I was like ".....oh, my god." Like, it felt a bit rushed, story-telling-wise, I didn't expect it to happen. But I quickly got on board. Because SHIPPING EMOTIONS.

BUT THEN IT WAS JUST A FAKE OUT HAHA JUST KIDDING. *flips table* I did REALLY like the conversation Felicity tried to have with Oliver on the island but he's such an emotionally unavailable MANCHILD that Felicity was basically like "WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS TELL ME" and his answer was the verbal equivalent of a shrug and I was like ???????? DAMNIT OLIVER JUST BE HONEST

I guess the implication is just a step up from earlier in the season when he was basically like "I care about you TOO much to have a relationship with you" which makes me roll my eyes and flip every table in the vicinity, WHAT A STUPID ATTITUDE, sigh. *smacks Oliver* JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY JEEZ

The things I endure for my ships.

But omg Felicity remains THE ACTUAL BESTTTTTTTT, she figured out what Oliver wanted and basically saved the day and everyone's lives, since Slade was unstoppable pre-cure. GO FEICITYYYYYYYY *hearts in eyes*

I am sad Sara is gone. I guess it was inevitable, but I am also SUPER glad she didn't die, because I've been scared of that for the entire second half of this season. Sara. <3 <3

Poor Thea. This is how supervillians are made, clearly. Great job Oliver and Roy. By lying to her constantly, she's now joining forces with her Evil Real Dad. The exact thing you were trying to protect her from, you CAUSED. *slow clap* Although I confess to being totally excited to see what happens to Thea now that she's with Malcolm. Eeeee. (John Barrowman is gonna be a series regular next season! So there's gonna be lots of story with Thea and Malcolm, I'm sure. YAY)

SO MANY AMAZINGS IN SHIELD. Nick Fury! "You didn't tell me he'd gone THIS crazy." And Coulson was just one BAMF moment after another. "I know what it does." But seriously, everyone was on top of their game. Except maybe Trip? I was kind of sad he was on the perimeter, but this was The Team. He's still new. So hopefully in Season 2 he'll be bumped up.

"Did you work everything out?"
"Is he still breathing?"
"I guess she held some of it back."

And yes, Coulson obliterating Garrett mid-monologue was Crowning Moment of Win. :D

Yesss, Nick Fury! I loved all the interactions with him and Coulson, haha. I was grinning like an idiot through most of it.

Yeah poor Trip, sort of sidelined, but I guess he hasn't "earned" anything yet. I hope we'll get to see lots more of him next season!

omg I forgot about that line, YES, hahaha. I cracked up.

Coulson is the best, I love him so much. It makes me sad when people say they don't think he's good in AoS, or they think he can't carry his own show or anything. I'm just like I DISAGREE SO MUCH, HE'S SO GREAT! I came for Coulson and I stayed for Coulson. He and Simmons are totally tied for my favorite characters.

:) I'm so glad we are getting more AoS. So many places it can go from here, so many mysteries still to be unravelled. I really disliked Ward before the Hydra thing and now I can't decide if I want him to go proper evil (unlikely) or to end up in a redemption arc (possible). :D And Fury was there, and it wasn't for a silly reason (in that, the idea that he is still paying attention to SHIELD frequencies does not seem out of character or him randomly deciding to go and help).

I am, too! The season ended in a good place I think, there's so much they can do now.

Haha, I liked Ward, so I felt personally betrayed by what he did! ;) I'm not sure what I want them to do with the character either, though. He seems to have enough moral hangups that going full evil probably isn't an option for him, but IDK if he can be redeemed. Maybe there is some in between option..

Yesss, Fury's being there was totally logical! And it was great that Coulson got to yell at him :D

I loved the Coulson yelling. TBH I liked the tone of this episode, the way it was just a little off beat so that a tropey-mctroperson scene can end in a random "yeah I thought it was in here" incidental thwarting and the incoherency of Coulson's rant at Fury (which basically was just "it was stupid")

I, way back when it started, thought it would be cool is Skye actually were a baddie who recruited Ward away from SHIELD and then found that she had accidentally gone and developed a loyalty to SHIELD herself so that part of the season would be Skye and Ward on the run from SHIELD and then Skye returning to the fold and Ward becoming a baddie and... I think the "Ward was always a baddie" thing is cool but I don't know if I want him to stay bad. But I'm not sure I want them to erase that he was a bad guy. But I'm not sure if I want them to make him an anti-hero sometimes helps, sometimes doesn't not sure where his loyalties lie might be a good guy might be out for himself shade of grey either. I am confused.

I don't want him with Skye though. Hell to the no with that nonsense. Did not buy that ship at all... long term. XD

I'm so glad i stayed with shield (not that there was any doubt really) I'm sad for some of the choices they have made but overall its just so great!! I just love the whole team and now they ARE a team i can't wait for teamy superspy adventures, but also hiring dumb spies and creating new science gadgets and skyeeeeee being like, important.

Can't wait for season two. AND FOR ARROW SEASON THREEEEEEEEEEee
