I started watching Grimm.

I'm five episodes in and somebody tell me is Hank ever let in on the secret of the grimm stuff/weird creatures/supernatural??? IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW.

Every time something weird happens, Nick finds a way to send Hank off so he can do supernatural research as opposed to regular cop stuff and then Nick conveniently makes a huge break in the case and then Hank is like WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME MAN and Nick is all EXCUSEEXCUSE and I can only take so much of this. LOL.

Overall, so far, I'm just kind of eh on the show. But, I hear it gets better. And it's not a horrible show by any means. I feel like on paper it has everything that should make me love it, but, it's just, something's missing. Probably a lack of an awesome lady character for starters, haha.

I think the only character I genuinely like and not just don't-hate is Monroe. BUT WHO DOESN'T LIKE A SASSY WEREWOLF.

Idk, just waiting for the show to knock my socks off. Which may never happen, if the general fandom feeling on the show is anything to go by, haha. Well whatever. It is filling the space when I have no other tv to watch.

I was lukewarm about it at the beginning, too, but it DOES get better, and Hank is let in on the seccret, yep.

Yes, Hank does get clued in later. And there are some awesome ladies in later seasons.

Miscommunication is one of my LEAST favorite tropes so I had a hard time with Hank not knowing. That part of things takes quite a while to straighten out, IMO. but it does eventually stop getting on my nerves so much.

THE WORST TROPE EVERRRRRR. It sucks it takes a while to straighten out but I guess I can hold on haha.

Its first half seasons are always slow, but it always picks up in the back halves. And, yes, Hank does find out and we end up with three main females by the third season.

Hank does find out, eventually. (slightly too long tbh) but I find that my love for ADALINDDDDDDDDDDDD MAKES uP FOR IT. adalinddddddddddddd my precious baby.

for me, i picked it over ouat back when i dropped ouat because it was more consistant. however, i do love like 25% of the ouat characters way more strongly than grimm, so it wins out on those factors.

I don't think it will knock your socks off. I love Adalind, and later on you get Rosalee <3333333, Juliette is kinda annoying in season 2, and Nick is a little annoying ALL the time. lol

but...fucking UNF to Captain Renard. lol. Monroe has always been my fave throughout.

It starts out somewhat slow, but it gets so much bettttttter. :D S2 is where it takes off, imo, and since then it just keeps making me happy.
