Does anyone else have a really hard time ever changing their default icon? I was cruising around some iconner journals and found someone who kept track of their default icons, and in 2014 alone they'd had like 20+ different default icons. I'm so impressed! I can't be that ephemeral, haha. I put so much ridiculous thought into what I want my default to be and then it doesn't change for agesssssssssss. I feel like I make it more serious than it really is. After thinking about it I said to myself, I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna change my default (honestly I don't even know how long I've had this one, FOREVERRRRRRR), but then I just couldn't commit. My mouse pointer hovered over the "default" radio button and just refused to click!

Although I almosttttt changed it to a Trubel icon. Because Trubel is the beeeeeeest. (I am all caught up on Grimm now. :D) The sad part about mainlining a show is when you are finally caught up, you miss that regular binge viewing. Episodes of Grimm were my nightly friends for weeks! And now it is over. At least until the show comes back in October. I'm looking forward to it. :3

I do have a couple questions about dropped(?) plots:

- sometime in s3, I forget the episode, Juliette put a pair of her shoes into a dresser drawer. Which is very strange. And the show wanted to draw attention to that strangeness by having Nick point out how weird it was that she did that. Then it was never brought up again. ?!

- they kinda dropped the whole Nick-goes-grey-in-the-face-and-seems-dead thing by mid s3 didn't they. Were they ever going somewhere with that??

Aside from that, though. Great season. And: TRUBEL. <3333333 My new favorite tbh. Also we basically have the same haircut so that automatically makes her awesome.

Not Prime Time fic reveals happened so I can finally link my fic - Adults Take, a Revolution, Charlie/Bass fic. 3840 words. Rated M tho it's not particularly explicit. Now that's a pairing I never thought I'd write, but I was inspired. :) Go read it and stuff. Or don't. Your choice!

omg i'm so lazy when it comes to changing my default. my current default is felicity and has been for a while. i think it was stiles before that. i think every now and then i change it but it doesn't "feel right" so i usually change it 4 times and then back to one of the 4 icons that are always my default lol.

TRUBELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL OMG WAS SHE THE BEST A) I WAS SUPER SCARED THEY WOULD FALL INTO DUMB TROPES (eg i thought for sure she would take off as the ~damaged but flighty girl who doesn't think she deserves a home/people to take care of her - instead she's like free food and people who understand me YAY)
b) omg can we just have her instead of nick now?
c) i would be ALL OVER A SEASON FOUR where our crack team are like don't do the thing trubel and trubel is like *does the thing* and the are all faceplam (literally can see nick in my head facepalming while monroe/hank are like hahah your kid bye in the background)
d) she's the bestttttttt

Also all those points. I was going to mention it but i don't want to spoil it but there were a couple of sillyish storylines that really were just kinda dropped - death nick, and juliettes visions and stuff? yeah weird. but also good because they were silly.

the only think i don't love is the STUPID nick/juliette not-married, i'm out/slept with adalind thing. like that storyline is bad and should feel bad.

Haha sooooo lazy! Also I have totally done that, changed my default then immediately change it back because it feels wrong. WHY ARE DEFAULTS SO WRAPPED UP IN IDENTITIES? Sob

TRUBEL!!!!!!!!!!! I totally was like "oh god they're gonna do the tough street kid thing" but I was pleasantly surprised. She's had a tough life but she still recognizes that these people are reaching out to her and she responds in kind and they're making a GREAT BIG HAPPY GRIMM FAMILY *SOBS*

Yeah those dropped storylines are weird but whatever I don't really care I guess hahaha. The Nick-sleeping-with-Adalind thing was ARGHHHHHH rage-inducing. I hateeeee those kinds of storylines. POOR JULIETTE. I don't blame her for being pissed. But also, the whole thing is just to fabricate some drama anyway (WHAT KIND OF SPELL WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO SLEEP WITH SOMEONE TO STEAL THEIR POWERS IDEGI)

I accidentally spell it as Trouble basically 100% of the time and have to edit myself. But lbr I'd probably call myself Trubel too if I had that name :D

Haha understandable! I used to do matching layouts/icons but I'm even lazier about my layouts (I've had this one for like 2 years) so I gave up trying to match. Sigh!

I think I"ve had three default icons in total since 2008 on LJ, and only one on DW. I hardly ever change them. Although I'm starting to get bored, so maybe I'll think about it. It's so hard deciding what to change to, though!
